ITESA Luncheon and AGM

TOPIC: “Green Line: Connecting People and Places: An update on the green line, funding, strategy and design process”.
SPEAKERS: Jessica W. Lam, E.I.T. , Project Coordinator, Green Line, City of Calgary
Bio: Jessica Lam is currently an Project Coordinator for the Transportation Department of the City of Calgary and part of the City’s Engineer in Training Rotation Program. She is passionate about sustainable and equitable urban development and figuring out how to maximize the engineering industry’s contribution to society. Her work on the Green Line Team has included integrated planning of transportation and land use; and innovative community and industry engagement. She has expressed these interests through involvement with numerous organizations, including Engineers Without Borders Canada. Her participation with EWB spans over 7 years and includes positions as a 2010 Junior Fellow in Zambia, Chapter President, and her current position as the Prairies Team Lead for the Global Engineering Initiative.
Jessica brings a nuanced perspective built from her experiences from her studies in Alberta, Quebec, China and Germany, involvement with non-profits, and current employment in the public sector.
