Vision Zero and the Safe Systems Approach
Neil Arason, Director, Injury Prevention and Healthy Settings with the BC Ministry of Health, will present an overview of vision zero and the Safe System Approach, with a focus on active transportation, and the 5 principles underlying the related effective crash countermeasures.
Annual General Meeting
Edward Soldo, President of CITE, will kick off the AGM with an overview of activities at the national level of the Canadian District. It is exciting times as CITE continues to grow in being the leading community of transportation professionals in Canada.
Nadine King, Vancouver Island Section President, will lead off on the business portion of the meeting including a review of the Section’s finances and election of officers.
