Presentation: City of Toronto’s Vision Zero Road Safety Plan
Speaker: Mike Barnet, Acting Manager of the City of Toronto’s Automated Enforcement Unit and Traffic Safety Unit
Mike Barnet is the Acting Manager for the Traffic Safety Unit and the Manager of the Automated Enforcement Unit at the City of Toronto. Mike’s responsibilities include the delivery and financial management of the Vision Zero Road Safety Plan and the Red Light Camera Joint Processing Centre. Mike is also leading the City of Toronto’s involvement in the development of the Automated Speed Enforcement program together with MTO, the Ontario Traffic Council, and many other Ontario municipalities. Prior to joining the City of Toronto, Mike worked in the areas of Transportation Policy, Safety, and Intelligent Transportation Systems at CIMA+ and at MTO.
The presentation will provide an overview of the City of Toronto’s Vision Zero Road Safety Plan, accomplishments to date, and specific program details that cover our methods for how we expect to achieve our goal. There will also be a brief overview of how we are preparing to re-launch the program in 2019.

- Silver Level Sponsorship ($250): Company logo will be included in the luncheon presentation and the company will recognized verbally in the proceedings.
