Registration fees will be subsidized by ITE Manitoba for all participants as a thank you for continued support from you, the ITE community, over the past few years.

The Workshop:

The purpose of the workshop is to introduce the components of the new TAC/CITE Canadian Guide to Traffic Calming (CGTC) – Second Edition (2018). The learning objectives for this course include:

  • Define Traffic Calming and understand the function of the CGTC for Traffic Calming in Canada.
  • Identify the components of a Traffic Calming process and how to achieve Traffic Calming implementation.
  • Understand the range of Traffic Calming treatments in the CGTC; their applicability, effectiveness and design guidance.
