ITE Manitoba will be hosting a half-day TAC/CITE Traffic Calming Workshop on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 starting at 8:30 a.m. and ending over the lunch hour. Registration fees will be subsidized by ITE Manitoba for all participants as a thank you for continued support from you, the ITE community, over the past few years.

The Workshop:

The purpose of the workshop is to introduce the components of the new TAC/CITE Canadian Guide to Traffic Calming (CGTC) – Second Edition (2018). The learning objectives for this course include:

  • Identify the components of a Traffic Calming process and how to achieve Traffic Calming implementation.
  • Understand the range of Traffic Calming treatments in the CGTC; their applicability, effectiveness and design guidance.
