City of Vancouver Cycling Safety Study by Urban Systems

UBC ITE Student Chapter is proud to welcome Sarah Freigang from Urban Systems. She will present on the award winning Cycling Safety Study for City of Vancouver.

The City of Vancouver is one of the most bicycle-friendly cities in North America and according to the 2011 Canadian National Household Survey, cycling accounts for approximately 4.4% of all trips to work in the City of Vancouver. Come out and learn more about cycling safety and the proposed Action Plans that can be taken to prevent collision and injuries.
