Our section has one position open for the 2022 Executive. The open position is for Communications Coordinator. The successful candidate will be confirmed at the upcoming CITE NCS AGM to be held in December, 2021. Voting ends December 8, 2021. NomineesBrief Description
Patrick McMahonPatrick is a transportation project manager working for the City of Ottawa.  He is currently working on many projects of varying size and complexity throughout the City, and is grateful for the opportunity to have an impact on how the City moves.  He was involved in the development of the new TRANS Trip Generation Manual and sat on the Steering Committee for new provincial MMLOS Guidelines.  Having lived in various areas of the City, he has been able to see and feel the impacts of the many projects that have shaped it.  He was involved with the CITE National Capital Section Executive as Events Coordinator in 2021, and he hopes to be able to contribute further to the growth and support of the local transportation community in 2022.
Paige HarrisonPaige graduated from Algonquin College’s Civil Engineering Technologist program as valedictorian, and is now working at J.L. Richards & Associates as a civil technician, actively working towards becoming a civil engineering technologist. During her time at Algonquin College, she was the founder and president of the Construction/Civil Club, which is a club that brings students and industry partners together through an annual networking event, attended by nearly 400 industry partners. Paige is relatively new to the transportation field, but is eager to bring new ideas forward and collaborate with others. She loves the challenge of creating a transportation network that is inclusive, and not just geared towards private cars. Paige is confident she can bring her past experiences as president of the Construction/Civil Club forward to contribute to the CITE executive committee, where she hopes to continue to learn, grow and meet new people within the industry.
