Call for Nominations - various positions

The Technical Liaison Committee (TLC) is a coordinating body tasked with coordinating technical projects and issues between CITE and ITE International. As well, the TLC assists the management of CITE technical projects and ensures that volunteers have the tools and support required. The TLC does not directly involve itself with the working elements of active projects. There are a number of potential positions open for volunteers from the general membership.

The first is a position as a member of the TLC itself. If you have an interest in coordinating technical projects, leading the development of National initiatives and being part of a small committee which meets at least twice a year in person, you should consider this position.

We need three Project Managers for the following projects:
1.       School Site Design Project
2.       Update of Neighbourhood Traffic Calming Guide
3.       Roundabout Planning Guide

The School Site Design Project has been initiated but not completed. The support and resources required to manage this project are in place and much of the background work is done. The other two projects have not been started yet.

We encourage all CITE members to propose the topic of their significant interest as a potential project. To propose a new project, a project initiation form needs to be submitted. Furthermore, we are always looking for qualified individuals as project managers to handle new projects.

If anyone is interested in any of these positions or have any questions please contact me.
