Sections
Saskatchewan Section
The Saskatchewan Section serves members throughout the province with the majority being located in Regina and Saskatoon. The section holds regular events twice a year, spring and fall in either city or at an alternative location. The geographic separation brings challenges in coordinating events but most are well attended when scheduled correctly. We also provide collaboration through hosting ITE Webinars, conferences and workshops when available.
Interesting Trivia:
The Saskatchewan Section is proud to have generated prominent members with CITE and ITE. Alf Guebert, who was the founding President of the Saskatchewan Section in 1990 and served until 1994, was also CITE President (1997-1998) and ITE International President (2008). Current CITE Past President, Bruce Belmore, was also Section President in 2001 and 2002. The SK Section was also very proud to show the delegates of CITE our prairie charm when we hosted the Annual Conference in 2005. The conference was a great success and the event regularly comes up in discussions with CITE members across the country.
