CITE HDR/iTrans Undergraduate Scholarship

Started in 2008, the purpose of the CITE HDR/iTRANS Undergraduate Scholarship is to generate interest for undergraduate studies in the field of transportation, and provide support for the education of the student.

Applicants for the $2,000 (CDN) scholarship must be completing their 2nd or 3rd year of studies in planning, geography, or engineering at a Canadian University, be an ITE member, and either a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.

The application process includes a submission form, along with a technical paper related to the field of transportation. The paper (not to exceed 1,000 words) does not have to be an original work, but must be presented in a form solely developed and written by the applicant without correction or additions by their professors.

The award will be comprised of a free registration to the annual conference (in the year of award), plus up to $1,000 to reimburse travel expenses. The recipient will be recognized at the Annual Awards Luncheon.

Application Deadline: March 1, 2012
