CITE iTrans Undergraduate Scholarship

Started in 2008, the purpose of the CITE iTRANS Undergraduate Scholarship is to generate interest for undergraduate studies in the field of transportation, and provide support for the education of the student.

Applicants for the $2,000 (CDN) scholarship must be completing their 2nd or 3rd year of studies in planning, geography, or engineering at a Canadian University, be an ITE member, and either a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.

The application process includes a submission form, along with a technical paper related to the field of transportation. The paper (not to exceed 1,000 words) does not have to be an original work, but must be presented in a form solely developed and written by the applicant without correction or additions by their professors.

The award will be comprised of a free registration to the annual conference (in the year of award), plus up to $1,000 to reimburse travel expenses. The recipient will be recognized at the Annual Awards Luncheon.

Application Deadline: April 1, 2010
