From June 5-8, 2005, the Canadian Institute of
Transportation Engineers (CITE) Saskatchewan Section will be hosting the
annual CITE Conference in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The theme of the 2005 conference is “A Green Light
for Growth, Safety and Innovation”
Every aspect of CITE 2005 has been planned with your
convenience and enjoyment in mind. From our pre-conference updates to
our comprehensive website, we are committed to ensuring you have all the
information you need to plan your conference participation. For those
arriving early, we have several pre-conference activities planned and
would be eager to assist you in exploring Saskatoon’s many attractions
and opportunities to socialize with other delegates.
The conference program also features many exciting
new ideas. CITE 2005 will include three technical tracks focusing on:
Growth, Safety, and Innovation. Speakers from across Canada and beyond
will present the most current thought on these themes. To provide a
variety of learning experiences several tours will be offered, including
walking, cycling, and small-group outings. Tours will include the
University of Saskatchewan, Innovation Place, Canadian Light Source (The
Synchrotron), and the Bridges of Saskatoon.
Finally, we want CITE 2005 to be a great experience
for all of our visitors, including the delegates companions and
families. CITE 2005 will feature a conference concierge and shuttle
service to assist your guest or family in enjoying Saskatoon’s many
attractions while you are attending the conference. Whether it’s
planning a walking tour of nearby attractions, a group game of golf, or
a family outing at Kinsmen Park, our conference concierge will ensure
everyone attending has a great time!
