The Canadian
Urban Transit Association represents the public transit community in Canada
and engages in a multitude of activities in support of its mission and goals.
These include conferences, training, public affairs, awards, exhibitions,
technical services, research, statistics and government relations. Their
mission is to establish public transit as the primary solution to urban mobility
in the achievement of sustainable transportation, and to assist its members
in the fulfillment of their mandates.

The Transportation Association of Canada is a national association with a mission to promote the provision of safe, secure, efficient, effective, and environmentally and financially sustainable transportation services in support of Canada's social and economic goals. The association is a neutral forum for gathering or exchanging ideas, information and knowledge on technical guidelines and best practices. In Canada as a whole, TAC has a primary focus on roadways and their strategic linkages and inter-relationships with other components of the transportation system. In urban areas, TAC's primary focus is on the movement of people, goods and services and its relationship with land use patterns.

ITS Canada is a professional non-profit society, with the inter-related
goals of fostering ITS applications, promoting government-industry cooperation
and strengthening the ITS industry. ITS Canada is recognized as the most
knowledgeable source for information and advice on intelligent transportation
systems in Canada. The Society positions itself to be fair and unbiased,
and does not lobby for or promote any specific commercial interest. ITS Canada’s
profile extends beyond Canada’s physical borders, with prominent positions
in the international ITS community.

The Canadian Parking Association is the national organization that represents
the parking industry and provides a dynamic forum for learning and sharing
to enhance our members' ability to serve the public and to improve the
economic vitality of our communities. The Canadian Parking Association
was founded in 1983 with the primary goal to be a national voice for the
public parking industry in Canada. The Association provides valuable benefits
such as certification, networking opportunities and resource materials for
individuals and businesses. The Association consists of both private and
public sectors, with members representing public parking companies, municipalities,
governments, hospitals, universities, airports, suppliers and consultants.
Transport Canada - Moving on Sustainable Transportation (MOST)

Transport Canada has established the Moving On Sustainable Transportation
(MOST) Program to support projects that produce the kinds of education, awareness
and analytical tools we need if we are to make sustainable transportation
a reality. The MOST Program will provide funding to help support projects
that will:
- Stimulate the development of innovative tools, approaches and practices for increasing the sustainability of Canada's transportation system and the use of sustainable modes of transportation;
- Realize quantifiable environmental and sustainable development results on Transport Canada's sustainable development priorities; and
- Provide Canadians with practical information, tools and opportunities for better incorporating sustainable transportation options into their daily lives.
